Produced in association with Rutenberg Design, and with research assistance from Transport Canada, TranslAid was an eight-language translation terminal to facilitate dialogue between disabled travelers and service agents at airline, bus, train, customs, immigration, tourist, bank, and hotel counters. TranslAid was designed to help hearing, speech and language impaired passengers as well as travelers who speak a foreign language communicate with service agents in transportation terminals. TranslAid provided ticketing and check-in information between service agents and travelers.
